I was never successful to connect with L2tp/Ipsec from Android ICS (4.0.4)
But my Xiaomi Redmi Note (Android 7.0) connects just fine

How VPN works, you could / should read in Wikipedia. You need not install it in your mobile, just configure and run existing VPN client. L2TP/IPSec will do. Because SoftEther VPN uses not single, but multiple protocols to connect. There are OpenVPN, L2TP/IPSec, SSL, SSTP ... Hi, I cannot find nowhere in documents, manuals, references, FAQs
detailed instruction for setting and using native SoftEther VPN client for Linux.
