Can not surf after CSF enabled

Post by Gulaholic » Wed May 29, 2013 2:21 pm

Hello,

I have a problem with my VPN Server.
After I enabled CSF Firewall the connectivity to other IP is blocked.
I have tried to uninstall CSF firewall but it still won't let me surf the web.

Please help me.

It seems that CSF changes the OS network setting.
Please try to re-install CSF and re-configure to original setting.

Hi cedar,

I did that but same thing happened. Finally I reinstalled the OS and softether.
Do you think it is possible to integrate CSF to SoftEther safely?

I'm thinking that CSF override basic IPTABLES setting from SoftEther when activated.

Mainly I want to block ports used for torrent.

I am sorry.
Because I am not familiar with the CSF, I don't know the specific behavior.

Hi cedar,

Do you have any suggestion of what should I do to block all torrent ports?

Thanks

You can block traffic in a virtual hub with Access List function.
