You should activate Secure NAT Virtual DHCP function.

But doesn't the secure NAT virtual DHCP end up handing out DHCP to your lan segment as well as your clients? Thats the problem I have had.

you need also a DHCP client on the virtual network adapter.
on Windows, DHCP client is automatically working on any network adapters.
however, on Linux, you might need to activate DHCP client manually if you want to use DHCP.

depends on your environment. traditionally most people use dhclient.
