Hello,

I've installed SoftEther VPN Server on my Windows VPS and I did sit it up well, everything looks very good, except one thing, VPN server CAN'T ping pc client although pc client has connected!

Next are some Pics to explain better ...

1. At PC client side, PC client has connected with no problem:

2. At PC client side, PC client can ping the virtual adapter that is 192.168.30.1

3. At VPN Server side, User client is showing up as connected with his local ip:

5. At VPN Server side, Also VPN server CAN NOT make rdp connection to pc client!

Check the firewall at clients PC. Disable it and then try to ping it from the server. You might have to open ports on the clients PC. First disable it and try to ping from the server.

You can't access from server to virtual net or from client to server virtual address.
Because it is virtual net and server has not interface with ip-address from this net.
Use localbridge to real network card and enable in your net DHCP.

So... workaround. You can add to real network additional ip-address from virtual network.

of course, but this is not really solution bro.

BUT

Finally, I found very good solution :)

Simply I did add (virtual network adapter) and I did assign it SoftEther's IP :) (192.168.30.100/255.255.255.0)

That's all

Have Nice Day Everyone
