PC to Enterprise-Lan - no network access

Post by MelGer » Wed Feb 26, 2014 10:55 am

hey all,

im testing Softether VPN for my company and now im stuck on a problem.
I installed the VPN Server on one of our servers and the Client on my own pc, configurated everything and been able to connect via VPN. I get a correct ip-adresse, gateway and mask and im able to ping the server, where the VPN Server is running.

But thats it, im not able to ping any other PC, Printer or Server in our company network.

I used this tutorial : http://www.softether.org/4-docs/2-howto ... VPN_to_LAN

Can someone help me? If required, i can give you more informations.

Greetings,
Mel

Hi.

How to get IP address? From DHCP? or Fixed IP Address?
If you use DHCP, Which DHCP server do you use?

1. Operating system name and the type of CPU-bits
Client : Win8 , Intel Core 2 Duo P9400 @ 2.40 Ghz
Server: Windows Server 2008 R2 Enterprise

2. The result of "ifconfig –a" (UNIX) or "ipconfig /all" (Windows)
Attached
3. The result of "uname –a" (UNIX) or "systeminfo" (Windows)
Attached
4. The build number of SoftEther VPN
Client Manager: Ver 4.05, Build 9423
Server Manager: Ver 4.05, Build 9423

5. Which SoftEther VPN component are you using?
Only the two from above.

6. Whether or not there is a NAT or Firewall between your VPN server and the Internet.
(If there is a NAT or Firewall, you should open a TCP port for the VPN listener.)
Yes there is a Firewall, but i opened the Port 5555 for the VPN Connection.

7. Are you using SecureNAT?
(If so, why don't you use the Local Bridge function instead?
The performance of SecureNAT is lower than Local Bridge, and it consumes
much of CPU time. You should not use SecureNAT except very limited situation.)
Please see http://www.softether.org/index.php?titl ... T_Function
No.

8. Your current vpn_server.config or vpn_bridge.config file should be attached on the post.
(You may hide your confidential information on these config files if included)

The only thing I see is that you're client's VPN ip is exactly on the same subnet as its physical adapter.
