Dual Factor Authentication
Does SoftEther support dual factor authentication using somethingn like Wikid or Google Authenticator? If not, how much effort to contribute a patch?
Re: Dual Factor Authentication
SoftEther VPN doesn't dual factor authentication by itself.
But you can implement it with script.
Vpncmd is useful for such purpose.

Hi,
could you please give me an example or just an advice, how to implement it on server and client side?

Re: Dual Factor Authentication
Someone want to do same thing with Radius.
https://github.com/SoftEtherVPN/SoftEtherVPN/issues/311
For example: Send a part of password in SMS when user requests to use VPN.

Re: Dual Factor Authentication
Hi,
Does SoftEther pass a RADIUS challenge back to whatever client is in use? I.E. if my RADIUS server is configured to accept username and password and then in the second step present a request for e.g. a one-time passcode (OATH or similar), does that work with SoftEther?

Re: Dual Factor Authentication
SoftEther doesn't support challenge back.
Re: Dual Factor Authentication
Hi,
I am wondering if there are any implementations in this regard. Increasingly, it becomes recessive to have the second authentication factor for VPN client access. There are several solutions that integrate with radius like Google Authenticator, Vip Access, OpenOTP.
Best regards.
