openvpn crashes SoftEther VPN server

Post by softethervpnuser1 » Fri Oct 20, 2017 8:06 am

Hi,

Anyone else seeing issues with using openvpn and Version 4.23 Build 9647 of SoftEther?

All worked before I upgraded from SoftEther VPN 4.22 Build 9634 to 4.23 Build 9647

Using the SoftEther VPN Client works just fine as before, but once I try to connect my Android phone with openvpn the following is logged

To me it seems that the server just crashes and reloads?

Any ideas? In case it matters, I am running my server on Raspberry Pi 3 Model B.

*EDIT*

I just now tried to connect to a cloned server with same settings but version 4.22 Build 9634

Same Android phone, same openvpn client, all works, no crash.

Looks to me like there is something wrong with openvpn and 4.23 Build 9647.

I see that now, had not noticed it before.

I will try that in the coming days and see if that helps.
