Windows LAN to LAN Bridge

Post by dselvey » Mon Dec 11, 2017 8:33 pm

Hi All,

I'm just getting to grips with SoftEther, i'm trying to set up a LAN to LAN test.

I have at Site 1 a server running. It has 2 NICs:
1 connected to a network with internet (ports forwarded for connectivity)
1 with the stack removed with local bridge, this is connected to a switch on its own.

At Site 2 i have a bridge client running with also 2 NICs:
1 connected to a network with internet
1 with the stack removed with a local bridge, this is also connected to a switch on its own.

They are connected and the cascade running, both local bridges are Operating...
I connect a laptop into the switch the local bridge is connected to at each side with a IP address in the same range/subnet and they cannot communicate. I can not see what i am doing wrong.

Both running Windows 2012 R2.

I have followed the instructions, but have i missed something?

Thanks

Did you use VM?
If so, please enable promiscuous mode.
