VPN LAN-to-LAN with Multiple Network Adapters

Post by gmj23 » Wed Mar 14, 2018 3:14 pm

Hello forum,

I need help understanding how to configure 2 adapters on a Softether VPN Server and a connected VPN Bridge. How do i designate 1 adapter for internet use and 1 adapter for local bridge use? Is the VPN Server supposed to have 1 card connected directly to the internet (modem) and the other card connected to the local LAN (internal router)? If so, does the internet side of the server have a firewall built in to prevent outside intrusion?

Or do i have to set both adapters up behind the router and somehow designate each adapter (1 as internet and 1 local bridge) from within the server software? Do i configure both adapters to be connected to the virtual hub somehow?

Any clarification on the proper network configuration would be appreciated. This is being setup in a corporate environment and security is paramount.

What kind of network do you want to build?

What OS do you use?
