Hello,
Has anyone noticed that the latest version of SoftEther VPN Server on Linux does not support client connections from Windows XP? Tried on Windows 7 onwards, the connections worked fine. However, when on Windows XP, it stuck at "Connecting to 1.2.3.4" instead of entering the phase of "Verifying user name and password...".
Firewalls do not block connections, and older versions of SoftEther VPN Server on Linux works with Windows XP on L2TP/IPSec.
Have I done something wrong on the setup or if developers of the SoftEther solution can see this thread and fix the issue?
Platform: SoftEther VPN Server on x86_64 Ubuntu systems.
Thanks! Much appreciated!
Andy

Could you show the logs?
Could you confirm L2TP/IPsec PSK is selected on the XP host?
