VPN AZURE

Post by centeredki69 » Sat Jul 14, 2018 2:10 pm

I have been using Soft ether for years using the dynamic DNS VPNxxxxxxx.softether.net. Direct connection

I finally decided to try the VPN AZURE Relay function. However I can connect using the native windows client but when I try to use the SE client I get an error 1.

I have forwarded port 443. The client sees the virtual hubs in the virtual HUB drop down. But the connection fails.

It seems the server is connected to the AZURE server as the native windows client connects.

Thank you

I solved the issue. I believe it has something to to with the VPN-GATE plugin.

I uninstalled all SE client software (VPN-GATE plugin version) and NIC adapter it creates from my PC. I then installed the SE client version, NOT the VPN-Gate Client Version.
It started working immediately. Maybe the VPN-GATE plugin version wasn't the cause, but it sure did fix the issue.
