Using Windows client - subnet issues/split tunnel

Post by dhayes » Sat Aug 04, 2018 2:58 pm

Hello All. We had a windows 2012R2 server running RRAS and with the July 2018 updates from Microsoft it broke everything. So we found softether and it is awesome. Basically, I installed the default server settings and our windows clients connect instantly to the VPN server. We are using the native windows VPN configuration. Running as a local bridge bound to the NIC of the server. It seems to get the DHCP address from the windows server itself which is good. However, I am having the following issues:

#1) The computers connect but can only connect to the VPN server IP. They can not connect to any other devices on the network. Is there a fix for this? We need to connect to multiple servers on the network.

#2) They need to be able to connect to the internet while connected to the VPN using their own VPN connection. In other words split tunneling. However, that is not working. Any thoughts there?

Thank you again for a great product.!!

Dave
