SoftEther VPN Support for SOHO Router

Post by satishkumar » Mon Aug 06, 2018 12:32 pm

We have Dlink/TPLink/Netgear SOHO Routers , one each at remote sites with L2TP/PPTP/IPSEC VPN Support. These routers are connected to Broadband ISP Backbone network thru PPPoE. Can I configure the L2TP/PPTP/IPSEC VPN Support feature in the above SOHO Routers to connect to SoftEther VPN Server at central location?

SE Server has a L2TP/IPsec server feature built into the software. Enable the L2TP/Ipsec feature on the SE server software and try it. Ports 500 UDP & 4500 UDP will need to be forwarded at the central location to the SE server Host machine.
