Depends what you'll be doing with your VPN. If your specifically looking for a premium paid VPN provider, I'd take a look at this list: https://vpnoverview.com/best-vpn-providers/best-vpn/
You see the most important features of each provider listed there; decide what features you personally need and then I'd say any one of those providers is worth it (at least the top 4 in my personal experience, I'm steering away from PureVPN since one of their supposedly Hong Kong servers once gave me an Australian IP-address if I remember correctly, there was something weird going on at least). And IPVanish seems to struggle with Netflix-compatibility if that is what you are looking for.

You should look for the features in a paid VPN to get the best value for money. I am a PureVPN user and I love their new features which includes network level Antivirus/Antimalware, easy to use Ad Blocker and App Blocker, along with the web filter which you can customize and have control over your Internet traffic. I didn't find any other VPN service to be providing these features. You can read more on their web page:

Hey Gary. Why do you want to shift? bad service? encryption? privacy? policies? Personally, the only reason I shifted to a paid one was encryption. while most will say they're vpns, only those offering encryption act like a true vpn because anything else is a proxy and doesn't encrypt.. only changes the IP. therefore, it's useless to use iit for downloading. my needs are a mishmash of security, privacy and anonymity so i can't do without encryption. everything else, i can compromise on. also, do read their privacy policy before you buy it. you can read more on anonymity here if you'd like.
