When i use bridge i spent 1GB in less than one hour, 10GB in few hours without using internet with any application only VPN Bridge connection.
Also VPN Server and VPN Bridge installed in VM esxi.
bellow the data rate from router when connect VPN Bridge "cascade connection" and without connect.
Without VPN connection
Current Rate:
20.445KB/S(UP)
4.662KB/S(DOWN)
With VPN connection
Current Rate:
131.212KB/S(UP)
83.905KB/S(DOWN)
how can i fix this issue ?

Re: VPN Data Usage issue
There is any data compression to save Bandwidth and working good with Voip .?
Thanks,

Re: VPN Data Usage issue
SoftEther VPN sends broadcasts to all client because SoftEther VPN is L2 VPN.
SoftEther has data compression function.

Re: VPN Data Usage issue
Hello,
http://www.softether.org/4-docs/1-manua ... ompression
Using Data Compression
SoftEther VPN protocol can compress sent and received all Ethernet frames internally and transmit them. The deflate algorithm developed by Jean-loup Gailly and Mark Adler is used as the data compression algorithm. The compression parameter is set so processing is executed at the fastest speed.
By using data compression for VPN communications, a maximum of 80% of communications volume can be reduced (depends on protocol used). If compression is conducted, CPU load of both client and server becomes higher, and depending on the performance of the various types of hardware, if the line speed exceeds about 10 Mbps, in many cases not compressing data improves communication speed.
How can i make compression 80% i only have 12%

Re: VPN Data Usage issue
My network scenario like this:
Location-1 Server side :
WAN 192.168.1.2
"assigned to this NIC all subnet"
LAN 10.0.0.2
Location-2 Bridge:
Wan DHCP
Lan : 0.0.0.0
Bridge network : using both subnet 10.0.0.0 , 192.168.1.0
what is required to decrease broadcasting in this network and make location-2 using for some PCs IPs from location-1 WAN subnet

Re: VPN Data Usage issue
If you can specify the profile of the unnecessary broadcast, the VPN server can drop these by "Access Lists".
