Blue screen one day after installing v. 2.0

Hello,

Older version worked fine when I used it in Australia 6 weeks ago, then I installed v2.0 yesterday and this morning when I turned my computer on I got a blue screen. Is it possible the new version is the cause? And how can I check if it is the problem? I have already done a system restore (fukugen; I have a Japanese win7 os), now I am back to the last version before 2.0
Can you please let me know how I can find out if this new version was the cause of my problem, or might it be something else? The Blue screen error message flashed too quickly so I could not get the error number or any other information. This is the first time I got a blue screen on this laptop which is only 9 months old :( . Unfortunately am not very experienced with the technical side of computers but have done scans for viruses and nothing was found.

I got a blue screen using v 1.0 (DRIVER_POWER_STATE_ERROR)

I removed SoftEther from Startup (using msconfig).

It seemed to work for me.

maybe there is a conflict with any system software installed on the same PC together.
