VPN Server

I don't know if this is the right place to post it here, but we have a VPN server available. We cannot put it in the VPNGate listings because the software will not allow us to enforce the no BitTorrent rule via filtering.
The server is L2TP only. Follow the configuration instructions on the VPNGate web page, but just substitute vpn.alphacrucisradio.org in place of any opengw.net address. The guest login will still be the same, login: vpn Password: vpn, and the IPSec key as vpn.
There are certain things not allowed, and this is enforced with filtering. We currently do [b]not[/b] allow:
Porn
Gambling
Warez
P2P/Filesharing
Hate speech sites
Cheating/Adademic fraud sites
Weapons
IF you do not have some kind of filtering these days, when running a public VPN, you are just asking for trouble. We do not want the Secret Service, FBI, or DHS knocking on our door, so we block the aforementioned site categories for our protection.
We also block whitehouse.gov. We apologise for this, but there are just too many people out there right now who hate President Obama, and wish him harm, and we don't want the Secret Service knocking on our door, if someone should decide to do something crazy. Allowing access to whitehouse.gov is just too risky right now, so we block it to avoid potential trouble.
Any abuse of the server should be reported to abuse@alphacrucisradio.org
