If you already have installed SoftEther without VPNGate plugin, just uninstall it and install that one recommended on the page above. The Connection to VPN is pretty much automatic with that, just select server you want to connect to.

I agree with what hostar said.

If you insist on connecting to a VPN Gate server by hand, at least make sure that your SoftEther VPN client manager with VPN Gate can see that server on the list. Other than that you have a few issues; Virtual Hub Name should be 'VPNGATE', Auth Type should be 'Anonymous Authentication' with username 'vpn', also you shouldn't need to manually configure the VPN adapter. I can't recall if you need to disable NAT-T or not but try either way.
