Cannot connect vpn [Android 14]

Hi, i have Samsung Galaxy Tab S9. i need to connect a vpn without any app, because i have to use samsung mods. Mods not works with vpn apps.
Well i tried to follow VpnGate connection tutorial for android: https://www.vpngate.net/en/howto_l2tp.aspx#android
I did it. Tried to connect but it won't ask for user name and password. What should i do?
