Usage statistics automation

Hi all,

I'd like to be able to obtain the usage statistics of live sessions/connected users, i.e. bytes transferred and received. I'm aware that from the server logs these stats are printed once the session is disconnected but I'd like to get these numbers while the session is active.

Further I'm aware that this information is available through the windows client, but I really would like to get that info from the logfiles or through API calls (vpncmd?) to be processed further in automation

Any ideas how to do that?

One method is to assign each user a VLAN and do this with your own OS.
