I changed the name of my computer. That made Softether loose the byte key for the dyndns function!
I had it backed up and could restore it.
Surely, this is not by design?

Yes, it's by design.
It's to avoid conflict DNS name when configuration file imported from other host.

There is backup configuration file in 'backup.vpn_server.config' folder.
