Not to displaying clients' computer names
Hey guys;
I have run the softether vpn server and using another computer I connected to this server. when I open my network places I can see other clients' computer names. Those clients can see my computer name and share folders as well.
Does anyone have any idea about this? I don't want any client be able to see neither others computer names nor share folders. lease help me. thanks

Please disable "Client for Microsoft Networks" and "File and Printer Sharing for Microsoft Networks" on the virtual network adapter to hide neighbor hosts.

dear cedar, thanks for the tip but this must be done on every client's virtual adapter. I am looking for some thing which can be done on the server to prevent this. because I do not have access to all the clients and I don't want tell them to do so.
I hope softether has some thing to do with this issue. maybe some policy, rules, group management thing and ...
so I would be so grateful if you or anyone else can help me

If you want to disable file sharing in entire virtual hub, please use access list function of the virtual hub.

Re: Not to displaying clients' computer names
Windows Sharing uses TCP/137, UDP/137, UDP/138, TCP/139, TCP/445, UDP/445.
Please deny passing these protocols in the virtual hub.

Re: Not to displaying clients' computer names
Dear Sir
We are new to Softether Vpn. We configure Not Displaying other Clients Computer Names and printers, We use
deny passing these protocols (tcp 137 to 139 and 445, UDP 137 to 139 and 445) in the Vpn Access List Destination post.
But unable to achieve it.
My vpn Server ip is : 192.168.100.2
Block all Users :
Attach my access list setup.
