Please read the server logs around the time connected.
About part of it is thought that it does not contain your personal information, you may post it here.
I want to confirm situation.
SoftEther VPN Client don't use PPP or IPsec to connect the VPN server.
What client software are you using?

thank you very much for your help cedar.
of course i don't mind to post my log here.
i am using my iphone to connect. and i am sure i select L2TP.
i also don't know why the log mention ppp. it is a pop up message on my iphone in that blue square said ppp.
i don't know it also.
below is my log,
i think i have locate the error,
2013-06-14 23:32:27.124 L2TP PPP Session [219.77.172.221:1701]: Acquiring an IP address from the DHCP server failed. To accept a PPP session, you need to have a DHCP server. Make sure that a DHCP server is working normally in the Ethernet segment which the Virtual Hub belongs to. If you do not have a DHCP server, you can use the Virtual DHCP function of the SecureNAT on the Virtual Hub instead.
2013-06-14 23:33:10.141 L2TP PPP Session [219.77.172.221:1701]: The VPN Client sent a packet though an IP address of the VPN Client hasn't been determined.
2013-06-14 23:33:10.141 L2TP PPP Session [219.77.172.221:1701]: A PPP protocol error occurred, or the PPP session was disconnected.
but i am 100% sure my DHCP in the wifi router is enabled, which other machine on my lan is working perfectly.
will this be something related to the setting i did in my softether vpn server while i setup?
IT'S WORKING after i enable the Virtual NAT & Virtual DHCP with SecuarNAT, but the performance, speed to be exact, seems downgrad a lot!
will this be related to the setting i did? i can pm you an access my my machine via a team viewer, if you don't mind and willing to help. or screen capture you my setting?
i am also the one trying to test on installing in centos. but i don't know what install.sh is, can you shred me some more light about how to install softether via install.sh?
million thanks in advance.

Do you enable local-bridge to bridge virtual hub and your LAN?
If so, I guess that you used wireless NIC to bridge.
Most of wireless NICs can't enter promiscuous mode to keep privacy.
Please use wired NIC to bridge.

oh, you are right. my laptop is using wireless nic.
but was this the reason cause the performance downgrade?
can it b fix? or it has to be a wired lan?

Virtual NAT function is slower than local-bridge.
If you want more performance, please try wired LAN.

				i have a bad news.
after i have added a LAN cable and disable the Wireless Lan card,
i still cannot connect the server and get that DHCP issue.
i will try to remove and reinstall the whole software and it still need to enable the Virtual NAT & Virtual DHCP with SecuarNAT, if i want it to work.
any idea?
thanks.

Did you establish a local-bridge from your virtual hub to wired NIC?
Can your NIC be assigned an IP address from any DHCP server?

Local-bridge is a VPN server setting to bridge virtual hub and real network.
