I find that I can only use gcc to compile.
You can try to refer to the instructions of installation on the website

I don't think they are using a uClibc based toolchain, based on the errors I see. Well, hopefully later this month they release the source code, what it sounds like anyway.

Gcc and "make" command is required for compiling.
iconv() libraries are required for running the server.
