Cloud Server Connection to LAN

I have a cloud server that I am connecting to my LAN. SoftEther Server set up on LAN machine. SoftEther Client running on Cloud Server. When I connect to the LAN I lose the ability to access the Cloud Server via its internet IP address. I can still access the Cloud Server from the LAN. I would like to be able to access the Cloud Server both ways at the same time. Is this possible?

Looks like yr issue is routing.
Did you use this http://www.softether.org/4-docs/2-howto ... M_into_LAN model?

Yes that is the model that I followed. I do not know what I need to do on the server or the SoftEther client to allow the internet connection to continue to function when the VPN tunnel is connected. Any advice is greatly appreciated!

When the Cloud VM is connected to your LAN do you lose the ability to access the Cloud Server via its internet IP address from your network only or from public IP also?

I lose it from public IP. From the LAN I can connect, although I have to use the LAN IP address. I haven't tried to get to the internet address from within the LAN.

Can you show "route print" when the connection is established?

Simply configure the network adapter of the client in the cloud. Set a static local IP and leave the default gateway empty.

Setting a static IP and leaving the gateway blank on the virtual adapter did the trick! Thanks!
