Is there any way to allow @ in a username in softether? Right now it does not seem to allow it.

Usernames for non-Softether VPN Client connections are defined as [username]@[virtual hub name].

There is no way to use @ (email address like). Sad but true.
When you connect with non-softether client (i.e. Windows client), the client presents a username to the VPN Server and if you didn't specify @HUB_NAME, then the set by default hub will be used.
You have to be careful because your VPN client may connect to the wrong IP subnet.

I believe this is a question of SoftEther design. Nevertheless it would be great to receive answers from disappeared developers to so many questions are being left without the answer.
When you don't like the answer, change the question.
