OpenVPN Access Server functionality?

Post by mpalokaj » Mon Apr 14, 2014 2:19 pm

Hello Everyone,

Does softether have functionality like the OpenVPN Access Server? I understand it can be an OpenVPN server, but the Access Server functionality is amazing and it would be even more amazing if softether can integrate this as well.

The OpenVPN AS allows for super easy setup, management and connection. I have one running athttps://givv.me.

They make you pay per user though, it would be great if SoftEther could replicate this.

The administration is web-based, and so is the connection. Here is a screenshot: http://180016988.r.cdn77.net/wp-content ... um_004.png

For server :
I think SoftEther vpn server is better than OpenVPN Access Server. it is free and no limitation about user number.
The only different point is softether can not be control by browser throught webpages, but softether has its management tools for windows. Of course, if Softether can be managed by browser, it will be bestest on VPN softwares.

For client :
They are same style , OpenVPN need to install TAP driver, SoftEther do the same things too. ( I don't know its name is tap driver or not)
