The RDP session should behave as expected if SecureNAT is enabled:
Connect -> Manage Virtual Hub -> Virtual Nat and Virtual DHCP -> SecureNAT Configuration

Choose an RFC1918 address block that does not conflict with any Amazon IP address blocks in your zone. Set "IP Address" equal to "Default Gateway Address" and use that in the Remote Desktop configuration. All other SoftEther settings must be sensible.

The Local Bridge Setting should be empty if SoftEther is running on an Amazon EC2 instance. The pv-xen ethernet interface cannot be bridged into a virtual hub.
