Cannot connect to server via server manager

Dear guru users,

I strictly followed the following steps to install vpnserver on fedora system. I installed in root mode, all listener ports are open and vpn server checks pass. I believe vpnserver is running because I can use vpncmd on the server to enter the management console. However, if I use server manager on a windows machine(remote), I always get "protocol error". Both sides are completely open, no firewall of any kind exists. Anyone encountered similar issues or what could be the issue?

Did you get the message by using the manager in same LAN with VPN server?
