I get an expired Microsoft testing certificate when I connect to 2ss2001.softether.net on port 443.

Ensure that IIS it not running on this computer and/or change the SoftEther listening ports. Let SoftEther generate a self-signed certificate, get the VPN working, and install a CA certificate later if you still need one.

hi dajhorn
Thank you for your reply.
I tried what you said about changing the ports but still not working.
I dont have IIS installed nor any web hosting programs.
I'm quit not sure about the self signed certificate since im new to softether can you provide me with link that describe how to make it?

many thanks :D

In the Server Manager, click the Encryption And Network Settings Button, and look at the "Server Certificate Settings".

At the given DDNS address, VPN clients are getting a bogus server certificate.

You must understand self-signed certificates to solve this problem.

Did you connect from same LAN to VPN Server?
Some NAT can't handle hairpinning.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hairpinning

Did you do port forwarding on the router?
I can see your router login page on the DDNS name.

I can see your router login page when I access to your DDNS address.
If you do ping to DDNS address, could you get the public IP?

I can see your router page when I access "https://2ss2001.softether.net/".
It seems that your router doesn't forward the port 443.

If you configure port-forward correctly, we shouldn't see your router page.
Please check your port-forward configuration or change the forwarding port number.
