VPN IP should become my IP and use local network

Hi ,
I have installed Softether VPN and able to use it. I know two setups one is
Once I connected to VPN, it is showing VPN IP and using VPN server internet.
2) Once I connected to VPN, it will use local network and showing my local ip(Disabled DHCP offering from VPN server).
I want to know how to setup Once I connected to VPN, Whatismyip should show VPN server IP and able to use local network instead of VPN server network. Can some one please help me on this setup. I need to implement it.
