Hi Everyone,
I just downloaded the SoftEther program to play an old PS2 game online using the LAN features built into the game. The goal is to use SoftEther to "trick" everyone's PS2's into thinking that the PS2s are connected by LAN.
For simplicity sake, lets not worry about the PS2 to PC connection (I got that mostly covered). Just looking at how my PC connects to the server, I seem to be coming up with an issue.
After downloading the program, I was able to download/import the server settings so I can connect to the server. When I connect to the server, its loads for a bit and then says I am connected. However, whenever I go into my CMD and type "IPCONFIG /ALL" or go into the "Network Device Status" screen of SoftEther Client, it says I don't have an IP Address.
Based on this, I've concluded that there is an issue with SoftEther/the server giving me an IP address. Any idea how to fix this issue?
Thank you :)
SoftEther Client isn't giving me an IP Address
