I'm connected, now what? Want to run Windows RDP/RDC

I've stumbled around and gotten a connection to the Softether VPN Server, but now I want to run programs on the remote server's Desktop. I would like to use Windows Remote Desktop Connection services.
Is there documentation or a tutorial that shows how to connect and run programs on the server?
