Softether / OpenVpn - Client to client communication

Post by prakashrgp » Thu Mar 28, 2019 6:02 pm

I have a softether vpn server running in a ubuntu server in azure. I am able to connect the clients to it using the openvpn client tun mode. But i am unable to establish communication between the clients. I am running the softether vpn server in Remote Access mode. I don't want to do the ethernet bridging since the clients have different LAN subnets.

For example.

Server IP: 192.168.30.1 - Ubuntu

Client 1 IP: 192.168.30.13 - Windows

Client 2 IP: 192.168.30.17 - Windows

I am unable to access the port 8080 of client 1 from client 2.

Should i make any config changes in the softether vpn server to accomplish this ?

Please help on this.
