sonicwall gvc client connection issues through softether vpn

when i connect to my sonicwall vpn through softether vpn, the gvc client log :the peer is not responding to phase 1 ISAKMP requests.
CAN I first conncet the softether vpn, then connect the sonicwall vpn client?

Is communication to Sonicwall possible on the VPN?
Have you tried ping or traceroute?
