Hi hope you are well and thanks in advance for your help.

if i have multiple users on the client pc they share the login credentials for the vpn.

i.e.
if i set a certificate for the vpn in user A 's windows account to connect to the vpn client on the server, when i log into windows account for user B, it also shows User A's login details and certificate and can use the certificate to connect to the server.

so the cert is set per machine and not per user on the client.

is there a way of changing this behaviour so that each user account on the pc cannot see the others certificate / connection details in the vpn client please?

Because VPN connection affects the state of the entire machine, connection management is performed regardless of the user.
It is possible to set authentication information just before connection and delete authentication information of connection setting after connection is completed by batch file.
