Softether Clustering using kubernetes

Post by mgloomy » Thu Dec 05, 2019 10:41 am

I tried find any info about SE (Cluster)+ Kubernetes, found OpenVPN in Kubernetes to access pods and services, but nothing same for SE.
I already have SE Cluster <-> Kubernetes Pods infra
But qty of active users may be ~ 500 as usual and ~ 10K at its peak. And constantly use the servers qty for 10K users is not the best idea in my opinion.
So idea to apply any horizontal autoscale solution. (unfortunately AWS/GoogleCloud not an option)

Maybe someone have experience and can share it?
Thank you.

You're going to have huge struggles here because each container needs to come up with an ethernet tap in order for a cluster to be working. I don't think kubernetes can do that.
