SoftEther VPN User Forum

Hi,
I successfully installed SoftEther on Linux Ubuntu VPS, and done the configuration based-on the docs.
But I can't connect to it (L2TP) singly. It shows Error. BTW, if I connect to another VPN server, it works and connects to SoftEther L2TP VPN.
Any idea would be helpful.

Is there a firewall running at the VPS provider location, is the Ubuntu firewall running? If so did you forward/open UDP port 500 and 4500 to/on the SE-Server Host. You also need to enable the L2tp/IPsec function on the SE-server. You also most likely need to activate "SecureNAT" on the SE-Server if it is not.
