SoftEther VPN User Forum

Windows Client: Error code 31 Installation of the Virtual Network Adapter device driver failed
I tried the gui and got this error
I tried with SoftEther Command Line Utility using Run As Administrator - and it failed as well
Forum is hard to search because Error 31 is a too common term, as well as many other relevant searches : (
What is my next step to resolve this?

installation of a Virtual Interface requires admin rights, make sure the client has proper privileges to do so. If that computer you're installing it on is within a domain-controlled environment, chances are network adapter additions may be restricted by an admin, so... either log in as local admin or domain admin to avoid all this.
