VPN won't connect?

i have accidentally deleted adapters yesterday and reinstalled them and now my VPN network adapter is a Local Area Connection and whenever i connect to it, it connects for about 10 seconds before disconnecting. it never did that before it was a Local Area Connection. How do i make it to where it isn't a local area connection?

Hello there! Did you try to remove your softether completely and reinstall it back?
