SoftEther VPN User Forum

I'm running the latest Softether Server on Windows Server 2019 at a datacenter. I am connecting from from the same city. My home internet (200down/100up). I am connecting to the server via UDP traversal.

Without connecting to the VPN, I get close to my advertised speeds. However, if I connect to the VPN, I get about 100 down / 70up. Is there any way to improve this?

What is the server's hardware and by traversal do you mean the port is opened up on the internet or you use the nat traversal feature? Open port is always faster
