Local Services in SoftEther VPN

I am having a hard time to connect SoftEther VPN, the software itself cannot be enable or disable in service.msc. When opening the application, a notification prompt of pc cannot connect to vpn client service, the only options available are retry and cancel. Despite attempts to reinstall the application itself, none has been effective.
