Hello and good day to all!
I hope someone can clear up a concern I have about my VPN connection
Will these settings prevent my real IP from showing in case my VPN connection fails ?
It will reconnect and during that time I won't be able to acces the internet with my non vpn connection right ?
Hope someone can clear it up
Thank you

The features you posted are intended to do what they state.
If the VPN connection is lost, the client will try to reconnect every 15 seconds. And will continue trying indefinitely unless you put in a reconnect count.
This is NOT a kill switch. Once the VPN connection is lost the PC will revert back to its original internet connection while the client continues trying to reconnect to the remote VPN server.
I don't believe a Kill switch feature is available in SoftEther although it has been requested many times.
