L2TP connection disconnected after 10 to 15 minutes

Hi,
I am struggling for rather a while with Softether VPN server connections.
The server is installed on a Hyper-V VM (Windows Server 2019 Standard Edition)..
Connecting through SofdtEther VPN client is working like charm.
But... As soon as I connect through L2TP from a PC or tablet, the connection is broken after between 10 and 15 minutes.
Reconnection then can only be made after a few minutes.
Log information does not help to figure out where the glitch is.
Where can this possibly go wrong?

We are a small museum, managed by volunteers only.
