OSX NicCreate

Post by mountainhike21 » Sun Nov 08, 2020 3:41 pm

Hi,

This fails on OSX with
VPN Client>NicCreate tap0
NicCreate command - Create New Virtual Network Adapter
Error occurred. (Error code: 31)
Installation of the Virtual Network Adapter device driver failed.

I see examining forums that you need OSX TAPTUN which needs to be notarised.

I have the notarised kexts and loaded them...

NicList command - Get List of Virtual Network Adapters
Item |Value
----------------------------+-----------------------------------
Virtual Network Adapter Name|tap0
Status |Enabled
MAC Address |5EB05C14E047
Version |Version 4.34 Build 9745 (English)
----------------------------+-----------------------------------
Virtual Network Adapter Name|VPN
Status |Enabled
MAC Address |5E8308D14DCE
Version |Version 4.34 Build 9745 (English)
The command completed successfully.

but they seem to be mostly unavailable I have created two but client does not connect...

any help appreciated
