I can connect to vpn.But how do I surf the web? I am a newbie to VPN if I sound dumb plse. forgive me.

you normally browse internet like without VPN

If you can not, it means your server does not have a route to internet

or do you want to browse locally on client directly on internet without route to the server?

Hi Sky59.. thanks for the reply...I am using ms-sstp ..no client required...to connect to VPN and I get connected...my problem is what happens from there...am I doing it right...looks like I am a bit lost......

then you have 2 option:

1- server is already on internet, then it must work

2- server is somehow working, probably behind some routers with port forwarding, I thin then you have to make a new cable connection from spare LAN socket back to internet and to make local bridge on server side

or you make a bridge inside a server on the same LAN socket you use to connect server to internet
