Hi. I am new to SoftEther and am not an IT expert.
I have set up SoftEther so that remote computers can access shared files on my PC. This works fine.
The problem I have is that the remote computers are now using my internet connection to access the web. I verified this as their IP address is now the same as mine.
Is it possible to configure SoftEther such that remote computers can access my files, but when they browse the internet, they are not going through the VPN for this. If so, how?
Many thanks if anyone can help.

Re: VPN for remote file access but not internet access
It's possible.
This can be done either at server side or client side, depending on whether you would like to let users decide if they need internet access.
What is your server and client environment? And have you set up a local bridge?

Right Click on the virtual network adapter.
Properties.
TCP/IPv4 > Properties
Advanced
Interface metric = 200 (or just higher than your other network adapter/gateway)
