Softether using local bridge + dnsmasq

Post by r0otkit » Tue Jul 27, 2021 1:35 am

I set up my VPN server using local bridge + dnsmasq according to this website:
https://blog.lincoln.hk/blog/2013/05/17 ... al-bridge/

I can connect to my VPN server and getting IP from dnsmasq but can't access to the internet, although I can access to the internet using a built-in softether securenat feature

I found this topic on the internet but I don't think my VPS is Nat VPS like op of this topic

topic link : https://www.lowendtalk.com/discussion/9 ... net-access

thanks for reading

Hello,

The easiest way is to look at your VPS physical NIC. If the ip address stated in there some private ip address, it means your VPS uses NAT.

Thank you.
