Connected successfully but IP does not change

Hi all. I don't know what to do because everything worked fine on my old PC. I successfully connect to any server in SoftEther VPN Gate, but nothing changes, that is, my IP remains the same, access to blocked resources remains unavailable, etc. I noticed that in networks I still have a connection to my internet, and not to the VPN Client Adapter - VPN. Has anyone else experienced this before and knows how to solve it? I have windows 10 if that matters. Sorry for my bad english and thanks everyone!
