VPN for remote connection (trial and test)

Post by sirch_sandbox » Thu Apr 13, 2023 5:37 pm

I'm trying to do a vpn connection using 2 laptops with separate providers (prepaid internet).
I configure laptop1 as a vpn server and the other one as client.
I followed softether tutorials and settings posted on youtube but none of them works.

Is there any step by step configuration/details on how to do it right in windows?

In your context (prepaid internet) there are two steps:
1 - on the server enable VPN Azure
2 - from the client connect to the above address

I followed your advice to use vpnazure.

I didn't mention SSTP. I suppose you require more "step by step" steps, here they are https://www.vpnusers.com/viewtopic.php? ... 018#p98965

Don't worry about it being a "VPN gaming guide", just go ahead with the following alterations:

Skip these sections:
Disable other VPN adapters
Disable Routing and Remote Access
Disable SSDP Discovery
Enable DirectPlay and Media Features
Manage Access Lists
Advanced Settings

Change to:
Enable VPN Azure
